Little Hawaii where
OK, Little Hawaii is a long walk from Cabinas Olas. Once you get past the river it is way down as far as you can walk over a mile. It takes a bigger swell to break. You will see and hear big bombs breaking in a reef way far outside. It is a very long, long paddle. If you are not a good paddler, dont try to go there....you never make it back.

Seen it many times but only surfed it once. Usually end up surfing the beach or the rivermouth. Needs to be about four foot overhead to start losing its gutlessness.Got lucky and caught it double to triple overhead in Aug. '02 with perfect offshores and a rather pitty takeoff followed by long wall and a nice barrel on the inside section. Probably doesn,t get that way often, but if you are in the area, check it out, it could be great fun!

Don't know what you are talking about!
I've surfed Little Hawaii several times and have scored some nice waves. You all are probably surfing the wrong spot. I wont tell you where I go, but here is a hint. .. cross the river coming from the beach bar. There is a volcanic reef at this spot that jacks up! I am from Texas and have surfed many places in the world and this is one of the most memorable spots. You should do what you can to catch it double overhead. . . Insane! Huge barrels and Long lines! I guess I am biased. .. this spot was where I lost my virginity. . .the first time I ever got truely pitted!!!!
