A Good Wave We surfed this spot back in 1985/86. It was 2-feet overhead, no wind, perfect glass, with just me and two buddies out. We had a great time. There are sharks in the area (as in all of the Bahamas), but they didn't bother with us until we started spear-fishing. You most definitely need a boat to get there!They are wrong about the wind directions though, as you have good (offshore) condiitons from the south-southeast, south, southwest & west.

Famous? Is this the spot where Matt Kechle and Kelly Slater go surfing in one of the Surf NRG films? It looks like it might be. Looking pretty gnarley - like to see a pic with someone riding for perspective.
