Surfers beach Access
surfer's beach is about 2 miles next to gregorytown. you can hitch or drive. just ask locals for surfer's beach, they'll all know it. drive on queens highway until you see a shield which says "surfer's haven", there you turn left. after a 5 minute ride you'll arrive at surfers beach.
if you need a nice place to stay try surfers haven. there are also some houses to rent.
if you want to go out, elvina's (gregory town) is nice bar with a lot of locals and good live music.

Eleuthera
Responding to the last comment... If you're staying near Surfer's Beach, you can go to a bar called Elvina's at night. Not much else than that for going out. Or, you can just buy a few beers and hang out at your hotel... more relaxing. As for renting a dune buggy... If someone has one, chances are they'll rent it to you... I have never seen one there, though. Instead, you can show up to the airport and rent someone's car. No forms to fill out, no credit cards, no insurance... just 60-80 dollars a day cash, and you drive it away. Hope you catch waves. Have fun. Check out how big the waves were this past March by going to youtube and searching for Eleuthera and Waves... hug bombs that were unsurfable.

Island Hoppers
Did anybody catch the Island Hoppers Eluthura episode with Lance O? Well I did and that surfers beach looks really fun. Choppy or not uncrowded beautifull warm water waves. I'll be going in November with my lady, looks like we'll stay at surfers manor. I have 2 questions I hope somebody can help me with. Where can i rent a bad ass dune buggy like the one i saw on the show. And is there anything to do at night, Bars?

surf season
im thinking of going to surfers beach in june. i know how june in florida can be- great for water skiing. but eleuthera supposedly has really consistent surf. anybody know how consistent june usually is?and board rentals. anything available there? i've got ladies with funboards in tow and wonder whether we shouldnt bring the boards along.
