 Vanuatu

Australia & Pacific

There are many great places to stay in Vanuatu if you are a surfing enthusiast. This place is just as good as some of the crowded spots in Fiji, Samoa, Tonga but only half the price. Similar to the Maldives it doesn't get huge but has perfect shape in tropical surroundings and it is right outside your front door.

Average temperature ranges in Vila are from 19 to 26 degrees Celsius (66 degrees Fahrenheit) in August to 24 to 31 degrees Celsius (75 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit) in February.

By Anonymous , 13-07-2010

wait'n over - back home after 3 weeks in vanuatu. Got about 5 sessions in total around pango. best time is reputed to be Apr/May. Got some good waves, but all but 1 day had onshore breeze. Quite a good scene. Will miss the warm water and local surfers singing to the waves.

waitn - Been here a week with strong se onshores all over every break. Been round whole island. At least another week of onshores forecast. Here for 3 weeks total, and thinking I might not get a wave at all.
