- heaps more..., how about surfing the mururoa atoll in the vibrating atmosphere of post nuclear blast radioactivity, maybe together with some 3 headed sharks? Awesome, need more bombs!

watch out!!! - I was as this spot in Nov. of 2002. This area is seldom visited and very expensive to reach. There are quite a few bodyborders, and mostly locals who are very protective. In my opinion the area is very dangerous because the break is very shallow and rocky. There is also alot of current as this is where the ocean pours into the atoll and vice versa. Tons of sharks aswell.

tuamotos - So why is this spot highlighted? Aren't there tons of insane places in this vicinity? Does it really get crowded on the weekends? By whom?

Good right! - Good Spot...for experts only...very shallow reef...locals are protective but you can make them your friends with some t-shirts, candies, macadamia nuts or other gifts.
Pretty expensive to get there.

Mistake - My wife is Polynesian from the island of Rangiroa.
The name of the pass is AVATORU and not Avatura

Where to sleep and eat ! - Go to "Chez Henriette", great place, cheap, good food, and so on ...

try diving at "the six passengers" club.

Have fun,
