An awesome wave. Good lefts in the winter southerly swells and good rights in the summers northerly swells. Its offshore in the south-east tradewinds. Gets dangrous from mid and low tides, with coral daggers occasionally jutting through the surface.

Atmosphere
It's really something different here. Consistent, usually glassy (except for during cyclones that haunt around Feb) and blissfuly uncrowded. Take off deep and just pull in - you'll usually come out.
Primitive surrounds, fine cuisine, pristine beaches and relatively non-westernised culture forms the basis of the polynesian vibe that exudes from the Tongan locals.
