Asili is not regular
Whoever posted the info on this spot doesn't know what they are talking about. First of all, Asili is not a regular wave. It hardly ever breaks, requiring a really big well formed groundswell (cyclone swells are best). The inside section has a gnarly suckup on the reef which is why it needs a big swell so that it will break in deeper water. Secondly, access is not instant as it is a long paddle out through the bay (15-20 minutes). If Asili is working however then it is a generally easy wave for its size and power unless the offshore winds are blowing strong. They can be intense though and make it hard to paddle into wave.
