well this spot is bout 40 mins paddle 10 mins jet ski.it is located at an island off the coast of dunedin. its off the back of Green island.....no secret there....or whateva that islands called that you can see from blackhead

this looks nothing like "THE ZONE" in "OZ" 1 the zone is a right hander and this is a left and the zone is way heavier than this sorry dudes!!!

that aint the zone - that is the other end of green island, - on the opposite side from where that shot was taken is nz's heaviest wave! its mental! and in the intro of the dvd "one hundred reason's" by hayden parsons, there is a vid of this exact shot. It does look similar to the zone - but it aint the zone
