go along marine parade north from brighton till you come to the bend in the road there should be a car park park your car walk up the drive and head out from there
better than brighton gets more south swell can have a gnarly shory on its respect the waimari locals who are quite a hard core group of water men they tend to be there almost every weekend

good atmosphere a few kooky locals but not all that bad there is the odd angry local particulary one who rides a red long board just dont surf near them
