The break lies 20km north of Kaikora, along state highway 1. Surfers need only park on the side of the road, and walk across the railway tracks to the water.
why the big wrap?
if every one is saying it is a fun inco wave i guess then that it is the realestate developers that have been longing on to up the rating.

glad to be there
man, people bitch about anything. just being in the water at manga was sick. chest high sectioning waves with no one out or maybe one other guy and his chick. the scenery, the rocks crackling, meeting people on the road, fuck it was great. the waves may not have been all time scratch for your life and hold on to your balls as you drop but i had more fun here than on a fuck all crowded day in bali or oz. travelling rips but ya gotta remember passing through doesnt get the best beat.

yes indeed i agree with the last few comments.it can be a fun wave but to call it world class or consistent is just the usual crap by big headed kiwis whove never travelled.fun on its day but not a lot of power or speed as it aint top to bottom!
