1 foot chop, sticks & pollouted river water - The guy probaly got stabbed for calling otaki at 5 foot. Ha Ha the P smoking crims have taken up surfing and are now halusinating at their local beach. At least I dont think you will have trouble with crowds when your so called dog is having its day.FYI: the only wave it that part of the county is the boulder bank at the northern end of kapiti, get a boat and head out there when its breaking. this should help you with your perception of wave hight.Or you can make a little wooden troley and take turns and towing your friends to foxton I hear it holds up to 20 feet on the right swell.

Whatever - Typical anti-Otaki trash. The locals are choice. Lots of surf lifesaving kids and locals hit the beach during a swell or a storm. Plenty of room. No competition for waves. Never met an a-hole surfing around here. Get over yourselves or stay away.
