Drive along state highway ten through Kerikeri and kaeo and make your way to manganui and about halfway between kaeo and manganui there is a big turn off to taupo bay. follow the road right till the end.

Great atmosphere, accommodation and really experienced surf coaches to help you rides the waves for grommets like me. You 'll be standing first day, no worries! killa spot - aussom im 13 and live their,its a killa spot fucking great surf ,me and ma mate tide rip it up.

respect taupo bay - Just make sure you keep your dogs leashed and off the beach. Respect the sea bird life there too. Quite a few threatened species down near the better wave action areas of beach
