I went to NZ to study at AUT in Auckland, but then I met the crazy Brazilians, they took me to the beach and that was the beginning of the surf and I spent more time in the water than in class :)
After the semester we went to Gizzy and at one day Dwaine said "Let's go and see Frog's" my first Point break I ever saw and I took this video. Thanks to all surfers in the water, it was a special day in my life and hopefully I'll come back and get some waves.

Top location
I travel to Waipiro Bay from the south island every year when i can . This region has the hottest weather , the locals are very friendly , and the surf is great! If your lucky , the local fishing club may be open and you can buy yourself a cold beer.

Local of the Frog
The Creek , Frog Rock and Kitties are all about 500 metres apart and all are right handers.I Grew up on these waves. When there on there full on. The second pic is Frog Rock. The first pic showen is of kitties or kiddies which cops the set waves that flow through from firstly "The Creek" and then from "Frog Rock". Kitties is a great wave for learners or when the swell is too much for Creek and Frog to handle. The Creek is steep with a fast take off plenty of barrels on offer for the experienced surfers- paddle out at your own risk!!Frog Rock is a little easier to handle but can still give a nasty bite with the right size swell- I've seen it huge!!Kitties gives you the longer ride of the three. (aprox 20sec plus wave ride)Cruzy take off, couple of cut backs into a barrel if your lucky and a reo to finish. And I haven't mentioned the beach breaks.......
