I know a guy
I once knew a guy, He wanted to surf Tarawera, I told him about the risks, He didnt beileve me.The next day I met the same guy but he was different, He was deaf in both ears, Blind in both eyes, Skin cancer and a board in two pieces.Take my warning and never go there EVER.

shit yea tarawera goes of on the right swell but being a river mouth the banks around there are a bit shifty and shallow, look after your boards.
