This spot is next to Tairua. Head North of Tairua and there will be a small sign saying Sailors Grave. Turn right and follow the road.Watch out for the massive rocks throughout the break surf in between them, No surf on the coromandel go here.

Classic Aotearoa - I surfed this spot with two buddies on a perfect 3-5 ft. day-barrels on the inside. This place has tons of potential when the east coast gets decent swell. It was us and 2 others and I think it was a weekend.

NO - It's not a reef break. There ARE reefs there, but there is also beach/reef mix. It's not just reef under the surface. Looking south toward Tairua are the reefs, out in front is the reef/beach mix.
