 Pohnpei

Micronesia, Federated States of Micronesia

The whole of the island of Pohnpei has many passes. The heavy rainfall on the land runs out through these passes and the freshwater stops the coral from closing the gaps.
While Palikir is the one that faces the trade winds there are other passes and the local surf guides are learning how to make the most of these.
Tropical sun needs full sleeved rashie. Reef booties are a good idea.
