Taapuna rocks!
Vairao is actually a cool wave too, but Taapuna is right there in town and has some really nice barrels.

Great wave!!!
I surfed Taapuna on a 6ft day... Great wave and respectful locals as well. A long paddle that is really worthy. In case of shark fobia, do not even get into the lagoon. Go to the Lagoonarium that is nearby...
