danger!!! - careful there, a famous tahitian girl had a bad accident years ago, coz this place is a garbage, and she felt on a big metal shit, she cutted really seriously her leg...
and also, i went checked one morning, i was with my scooter, and 3 fuckin dogs ran after me, i started up my scoot, tryin to flee from them, but one of them could stick a tooth in my leg, nothin serious, but i guess if i was without scoot or car, i could be eating by those monsters, man!!!!!
otherwise, i had some good surfing times there too...
it depends - could be perfect as it could be shitty , becarefull the day after rainning ... must not go the water will be really really scary-dirty...
Fun surf - Paddled out with my buddy for some waves - a little mushy, but otherwise fun. Definite potential if the swell is head-high or bigger. Locals were very cool.
I love it too!!!! - I think too it's the best beach break in tahiti, left and right, barrels, and I confirm that the best time is the morning, just when the sun rise, glassy, tubes, few guys in the water.......but crowd in the we in the afternoon, very email@example.com
- Nice waves multipics, overcrowded during the day. Easy wave. Be careful with pollution.

Forgot to add... - My favorite time to go is early in the morning just before dawn, when the upe is blowing (wind from the valley, offshore) just before the mara'amu gets up. No body in the water. Then when the crowd comes in, well it's time for breakfast.

Good spot to learn - I'm a local guy. I grew up not far from there. Learned to surf on that spot. The best beach break in tahiti. Never got any diseases but once again I'm not soft like some. I surfed with sharks around. You'll never get in trouble with locals (if you respect them they will respect you). The only cunts who might give you a hard time will be those coming from outside Papenoo.
Don't go there - I caught menetfigutustisugertyuiongs here and lost a leg to a shark
