Best time of year
I'm may be going to the Yasawas in the late April. what is the best time of the year for swell? Are the any other waves besides Tavewa in the area?Kirk

Tavewa
Turned out to be a fun fast right in the middle of the channel. Reef is shallow and beautiful and the wave was small but rippable. Unfortunately, I only surfed it once due to sensitivity to tide & wind. Great place to get wet as surf options are limited in the area.

tavewa surf
just got back from 2 weeks in fijisurfed tavewa 5 times and it was a sick little wavejust me and 2 mates and no other crowds to worry aboutplenty of waves and keepan eye out for the sharks!
