Try to find someone in town, (Suva) to boat you out there. You can paddle if you like but I'm sure it's at least an hour. It's right in the main reef pass for all of the big ships. It is not consistent and almost non existent in winter when the trades blow all day everyday. Best in the morning. Ten minute boat ride out there and only OK on very high tide.
This spot is almost raley breaking. Takes W, S, SW. Fun wave that isn't too powerful. sloppy wave but better than doin nothing while in Suva. don't travel for it as you will be dissappointed.

it sux! the thing with suva harbor is it is situated on the windward side of the main island and fiji sits in the SE tradewind belt so you're looking at blownout onshore conditions most of the time......hell for kitesurfin though!!!

Locals only.....
Say away from this rare beauty.The reason why nobody has ever seen it really puping is because when it is its locals only out there.And its easy to control cos the only ay out is by bot.I would know.I'm one of the locals.Oh and you can't paddle out there.

was staying near frigates and spoke with a guy that said you have to be on it. Can get good though he said
