Wrong Spelling, Gringos - 'Papa Tangaroa'. It means the reef/platform of Tangaroa, the Ma'ohi god of the sea. You're on your own re: some of the other incorrect info about the spot

unbelievable - i cant believe there are spots like watipu in new zealand that receive 5 stars but a much better break like this one(judging by the photos receive only 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

INSANE - this spot is epic...seems to me to be like the teahopoo of oceania. Strange its not ranked as a 5 star wave.

WOW!!! - this spot is crazy! i can't beleive its not listed as pros or kamikazes only! all the waves seem to be at least double overhead, and all are barrelling. thanks to the dude who submitted this spot its crazy.

Sounds heavy - Sounds almost as heavy as my home break in St. Augustine. I wonder how my 5'11" fish would do off the bottom.
