Additional Surfing Infos
basically only worth surfin if ya dyin for a paddle and all the other breaks are maxing out, or are blown out. a winter storm break, is a bit more protected from the wind and the larger swells.
  Overview
Atmosphere no one ever here so ya normally get it 2 yaself. only really worth a paddle in the middle of winter as it needs bigger swells (3m) to have any size. is a bit more protected from the westerlies than sum of the other breaks in the region.
General only go here if desperate for a surf without the crowds. will b smaller than all the other breaks but with no crowds. its alrite for a change and ta get away from the crowded beaches both north and south of it.

local
Having surfed the area since I was a kid I can say that Golden Bay can be a quality option. In winter it can have good banks and although smaller than Secret Harbour it is way less packed and you will get heaps more waves. Just walk anywhere from Madora to Singoes to Golden Bay or to Secret Harbour.....can't go wrong!

golden bay is good
i went there today and it was a 2.5 and light offshore and it was good. way better than going to secrets and getting crowded by people. every now n then a good set comes through at about head hight. can't wait till winter comes.
