Head to Miami south of Mandurah. surf reef known as Gearies 500m south of Falcon Bay. follow the mandurah coastal road around and look for a surf spot just up north from avalon point. Avalon point is the last point until you get to the mandurah cut(rivermouth)
This is a long wrapping left, that only breaks in big swells. On good days it links from sharkies (out the back) to Gearies and then to cozies. Its one of the longest (but also most fickle) waves in WA.do not take the rights, as they may be tempting it will go dry on the reef
Overview
Atmosphere
Great spot if you catch it on - the chances of which are pretty small. You could be in for a very long ride.If its too small, try Avalon Point further south
General
The best wave in Mandurah, frequented by mal riders hwoever.Best thing about this wave is it works in a SW wind which is onshore everywhere else.
Jakeo
Its a sick wave on its day. Good on the onshore to. Holds big swell and can get pretty packed.

F*** gearies, go out the back
i went to gearies when it a 6 metre swell. So many people on mals. When i was waching gearies break, i saw a reef out the back and nobody wa out there. it was a nice barreling wave. it looked so heavy and i saw it spit. But it is a long paddle, i think it would take about 20-40 mins just to paddle out. What is that spot coz i wanna surf it coz it looks so sik.
