Take a boat from ocean reef marina or hillarys marina and about 1500m in front of pinnaroo point there is a small island full of seals. The break is about 150meter of the island. hold a good wave on a 5-6 knot east on a 2.5 meter swell and can get up to 4 meter then it's a new ball game, other than that a good fun wave.

Park the boat bout 50m from break and paddle. Paddle out in the channel then go into the lineup.u can either take a left or right at little island. Usually empty, so go with a group of mates or it will be no fun at all. Right is hollow and fast and has a fun end bowl. There is enough time to bust a move before it wraps around the reef and closes out. The left is pretty slow and really has no shape. Unless there is a big swell it is usually a pretty short ride but is good for carving and spins
There is a litle island bombie to the left of the island that is a left(awsome spot real heavy n fun)
Feels awesome surfing offshore.
Sick on a 3m swell with 4-8 knot easterly

To Regularly There - Spot on mate! I reeley hate da ppl dat dunno wot da doin and wanna pop a cap in a bro's ass. Seriously, we are surfers - not Gansta's. I've given up on the island, had some good days out there, but I don't think the wave is worth an encounter of the shit scared kind.

shark fact - Obviously many guys post shark sightings to discourage crowds from favourite breaks, but I was followed to the boat by a white pointer July last year. I didn't see it until I was in the boat, my mate in the boat spotted it cruise past after I'd just climbed in! This isn't to scare you. Just be aware. The water is 15m deep just off the back of the break, there are seals on the island ( a small colony of maybe 20)and the line of reef naturally channels migratory stuff along the back of the island. I still surf there, it's a good wave. Take this as fact. The fact that I can type widout usin dat stoopid gromut spelink shood proov mi cred. Share the waves everywhere.krap
