Additional Surfing Infos
the quality of the wave is dependant on the sand build up next to the reef. if it is fat then there is obviously no sand bank there and you will have to come back another day to surf the proper gravis.
  Overview
Atmosphere it is a really nice wave when the banks are good and there is a bit of swell. when the swell gets over 3m then gravis shorey starts to work (if it has a bank!) this can be surfed with any wind when it gets big because usually even if it is offshore it is still fairly messy.
General i thinknits sick coz i live so close to it. but reeaaly, if u want me to tell u the truth its a really crap spot and it never gets any waves summer or winter, its crowded, people drop in on u, and not worth ever even checking because its so bad (especially when the swell is 4-5m and there is a light NE wind

woo
i surfed grav once and couldnt walk for weeks because of how hard i had to paddle. i cramped up and was out of breath the whole time. shows how much power grav can have on its day. or maybe its just because im fat and unfit

chinna pinna
i hear the waves so sick, that some big angry local named joel or chinna or something had to come and write locals only on the path like a sick cunt.

Mate - for what it's worth, I think you are spot on about the Marina and sandflow. As if Perth wasn't bad enough, since that Marina was put in - there is no natural sand flow anymore up and down the coast. Gravers certainly used to better than what it is now. It's basically lame now and so are most people who surf there.
