Confusion
Photos show a number of different breaks. Vlaming Head probably refers to wave known locally as Hunters (accessed from Hunters Access), soft right hander but can be epic on a large swell.

Good things come to those that wait, & watch.
The Exmouth region can be a heaven or hell on earth. Go in the right time of the year and you'll be rewarded with great surf, fishing beyond believe, and diving that is world class. DON'T do your homework and you'll be besieged by more flies than you've even seen, wind that will blow your dog off his chain and an ocean that looks like a lake. Tip 1: Don't go during ANY holiday period. Tip 2: Give respect to get respect. This goes for everything and everyone. This environment is a very finite resource. We are only borrowing it from our kids. Tip 3: Learn to read the weather maps and marine navigational charts. This can yield an epic surf session at a "secret spot" that can have you hanging out at night enjoying a well earned cold beer saying "You should have been here yesterday". And the only locals anywhere are the dolphins and sharks. I've had the previledge to surf, fish, and dive these waters since the mid 60's. I just hope anyone that reads this will have half the fun I've had there and come to protect and appreciate the region also.
