Drive out of Albany along Chesterpass Rd, Turn right at Bakers junction, Drive through Manypeaks and after about 15km turn down cheynes beach road. Follow the road all the way to the end and you will be at the point.
Walk to the point and over the rocks. There will be a big rock about 3m tall at the waters edge with a smaller rock in front of it. This is called 'suicide rock' and it is the jump rock. Time your jump welll and sprint paddle out the back or you'll end up on the rocks.
Overview
Atmosphere
Cheynes beach is a quiet fishing settlement that has become more popular with people on holiday in recent years. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom. Don't surf the place on small days or the small waves on the big days because the will be breaking over barely submerged rocks
General
Classic wave that only breaks every now and then, but when it does it goes off.
