A couple of km's east of the Hopkins river mouth in Warrnambool. Also known as Logan's beach which is a famous whale watching platform so just ask any on in the town of Warrnambool where you can watch the whales and it will lead you striaght to it.
The majority of the time there is only lefts but it does on occasion have sick rights.
Overview
Atmosphere
It pretty hard not to get a barrel out threre most days, and on its day it can dish up some of the longest, deepest and hollowest beachies anywhere. It's one of those spots that could if you get it epic it could give you the pit of your live, it gets that good. Most of the time there is plenty of fun to sick pits going around to enjoy between the epic days
surfing japs the truth
I am a stand up and long time local at this spot and heres the truth i have nothing to gain by talking crap. As much as an older group of surfers 40+ will cry about this, they think they own the place. They hardly even surf there then give attitudes to the Lidders that are always out there. The Lidders some of who are good lads charge out there and deserve waves, the oldies as for you guys try to remember why you started surfing you grumpy old bong monkeys. to have fun, if you cant work it out!! not to try and intimidate kids who would probably and have already punch you guys out.
