Going west out from Warrnambool very approx 10kms from start of 100kms. After you go past the volcano (Tower hill) you'll see one No-thru-road (Andersons Rd), go South down the next road "Gormans Rd". There's a few carpark areas which all have beach access. The park next to the old river mouth is good.
Really clear, clean water. When waves aren't breaking on Warrnambool and Port Fairy beaches it still is at The Cutting. Today for instance Logan's had 40cm waves while there was the odd head-height wave at The Cutting
General
I don't come here much although it is a great place to surf. If you know more about this place please add/change bits on this page.
