surfed bells about 8ft was out with the junior pros 3 days before the comp it was epic, broken boards and barels bestive seen

Bells 1981
The waves were probably biggest I've ever seen locally.A couple of mates and I slept in the carpark during the contest and woke up to see the unbelievable awesome lines.On the bigger sets 15plus Bells broke all the way to Winki.Simon Anderson killed it that day.The women couldnt even get out there,I felt for them.I remeber Nat Young and some others that werent even competing surfed that day as temptation was too much just too spectate.Mark Richards ,Cheyne Horan,ShaunThomson etc all had to bow down to Anderson and his thruster.I have some pix to bring out .Love to see video of that day if anyone knows a vid that covered it.

u guys are all spazes, i grew up at magritz river surfing waves that were 10 foot when i was 9 years old. u have to surf southside way better then bells theres a huge cave u can sit in and start a fire to warm urself up or smoke a doob with marquew, its got everything. we saw a pod of dolfins once and my dad got off his board to approach it, but realised they were sharks,

funny times.

I've been to every city in Mexico. I came across an unclaimed piece of meat in Baja, turned out to be Rosie. I guessed he picked a knife fight with somebody better. Found one of your passports to Sumatra, I missed you by about a week at Fiji. But, I knew you wouldn't miss the fifty year storm, Bodhi.

50 Year Storm
Twice a century there is a huge storm off Antartica, sending massive swells north across the Pacific. When it does it'll be the biggest waves the planet has ever seen and I'll be at Bells Beach to ride it!

Bells is Best
I have been livin around the bells area for over 15 years and there is a reason why it is an internationally famous surf beach, when bells gets going, aroung easter, surf is regularly over 12ft. I surf there everyday day and beleive it is by far the best spot in Victoria
