Walk over the track about 150-200 metres east of Surf Club on ocean road. You will see the reef directly in front of you as you walk down the dunes. If you can't you're obviously on the wrong track. Even if you go over the surf club track and look left 150 metres you will see it.
Spot does not handle crowds. Like five or six people is a crowd out here. There are three main barrel sections that link up. Really easy to get barrelled. The wave almost stops on the take off as it jumps from deep to shallow water. Sooooo fun when its good. Watch the tides! it can be really full with the tide going out, then a few sets can come through and drain the reef and all of a sudden the tide has drained half a metre.

Bodyboarding wave. It can be hilarious watching surfers out there who think they rip. This wave has the ability to make these surfers look like spaz's. Locals will take every wave they want. Not really anything too heavy unless no respect is shown. They mainly will just give you a few stares.

Great, sick wave. Shallow, fun, hollow, ledgey. Insane when good.

i dunno if glaneuse is quite in the same class as teahupoo. and ive never seen anyone wear a wetsuit in tahiti either! its pics of the local boardriders comp a few years ago. short wave 50m max not worth the trip really.

for all we know it could be andy irons surfing tahiti in the billabong pro on a small day..
