barrels - It's a wave that kids can learn to surf big waves on. Has a steep peak that breaks onto a rock, and then short barrel section. Kids can sit on the other side of this section and get a steep takeoff that then fizzles out as the wave runs into the cove. If you are a competent surfer you'd be surfing weeds next door and skipping barrels. Can't handle more than 3-4 people in the lineup. It's just a short wave.
