head to swincers rocks, 10-15 kms south of corny point, jump out of the car and do a little exploring on foot, wont say exactly where, that is up to you. thats how we found it, bored, with no swell on a hot summers day, not a wave on the horizon and by accident there we were staring at 3-4 foot crystal righthanders winding off this perfect sandbar, one of the nicest secrets on yorkes, sshhhh. |

Additional Surfing Infos |
| | be careful of rapid swell increase, remembering that this place has waves when its flat, and i mean dead flat it still has a nice little 2 foot runner, where and how it magnates swell has got us beat. so with that in mind as soon as the ocean starts a new swell, and at yorkes it can be flat in the morning, and 6 foot by lunch, so be ready for some nice big rights ready to charge through, no indicators either.

Overview |
| |
Atmosphere |
as mentioned when we staggered off this rocky bare platform and over the last burning dune on that bloody hot summers day with a south easterly blowing straight off the land, we were trying to work out why we dragged the bloody boards with us. but when we ran over that rise and saw this 4 ft right hander scream across this perfect sand bar, we were onto it with our jaws dragging on the ground through disbelief. this was gold, surfed it all day and had the biggest smiles on our pioneering faces. and no one would think to walk to this spot unless youre slightly insane which at that point back in 1993 we indeed were quite insane, so the beach is so private, not a footprint in the sand, never seen anyone else out or near there, except the lonesome fisho or once a group of horse riders came through. sweetest secret to have hold of. and weve seen it in all its moods as well, from that 4ft day to a huge 12 ft death swell and it was performing like the beachies in france, spitting like a bad ass camel and cleaning up a fare stack of boards. |
