Baby Lizards Access
Driving from Marion Bay turnoff is on the left not far from the town. It used to be a dirt road from the turn off but the council has started sealing it, so it is a sealed road at the turn off. Keep driving down this road until you see some really huge sand dunes in the distance this should take you about 30 -40 minutes depending how fast you drive. Take the next left, a road leading to the cliff top. Park the car in the carpark and begin the rather lengthy walk to the beach. The break is to the north of the carpark, face the ocean and turn right, get your gear, start walking. About 1 km later you get to the point where the cliff meets the beach, scale down here onto the sand dump your gear near the cave, paddle out from the beach into the channel, and you're there.

Additional Surfing Infos
Take your gear to the beach as it is a hell of a long way to go back for a drink. Do not attempt to surf this at low tide unless you want meet mr exposed rock. The wave can be sectiony. If it looks to small near the point, have a look further down the beach, occasionaly has good banks
The wave is not a point break but you use the rip from the point to get out to the take off (on the right of the point) If you get caught inside just paddle for the channel.
  Overview
Atmosphere This is a very beutiful beach and needs to be respected, Yorke peninsula is very secluded, so expect to find no-one else around. Can be a good place to hang out on a nice summer day with some friends. Often you may see dolphins, and sometimes a school of salmon, be wary...
General Good choice if all else is too small, or blown out. Doesn't hold over 5ft and not a great quality break.

It's not Lizards...
The pics featured here are not Lizards - Lizards is a right hand reef not a left beach break. I doubt those pics are even in SA. The Right hander featured does not look like Lizards either.I first surfed this spot in 1980 and back then I think it broke a lot better with a 'square' shaped tube at low tide over shallow inside reef, but I believe something changed on the reef or bottom contours and haven't seen it break like it used to. It was never a really great wave anyway, more of a last resort when almost everywhere else was flat.

dude
oh man i wish i could hit up these breaks but my number one fear is the shark factor! looking to buy one of those repellent things.. maybe theyll help me out. But seriously... those waves in the pictures look intense as doesnt even look like S.A at all! i hate sharks!
