Moana Beach is located just south of Adelaide. There is easy access and main roads take you straight there! If you are in Adelaide go straight down South Road until you see a sign with a surfer on it. Turn right and there you are at the beach. It has special access, a surf life saving club, a bar, barbeque, and toilets!

Park your car near the boardwalk as the best waves are straight down from it. Near the boardwalk are nice right handers but if you surf straight out from the surf life saving club there are some quite good lefties aswell! I advise you to go out to the back set as most other sets just brake over you and you don't get a joyful ride!
The first time a surfed here was great. No localism problems at all and the water is very warm! If you surf near others they don't mind at all!
I think this spot is great for begginers and is not that dangerous at all except there supposably is blue ringed octopus within the rock pools but in generall you wouldn't surf there!
