Additional Surfing Infos
Hollow left and a perfect barrel when conditions come together, this one-time secret spot now gets crowded. On its day the best wave at Yorkes, but it is a fickle surf spot that needs a lot of factors to turn on, starting with a big westerly swell. Comes in from deep water and breaks onto a patch of reef that is about shoulder high, before running down the reef before ending in a deep water channel. A scaled down version of Blackfellows at Elliston.
  Overview
Atmosphere Beautiful area, great wave but needs a lot of factors to turn on. A lot of people hang for this wave these days though and so if it is on, expect a busy crowd...
  General Great wave.

even worse is that really fat, morbidly obese booger who thinks he's a "local". the guy looks ridiculous sliding down on his guts (and i mean GUTS!) and mouthing off to townies. seen him at the marion bay tav, he works there. whoever you are mate, you are a KOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree!
i agree, bootleg boardriders are kooks, just old guys with mullets who can't surf for $hit but always paddle out together in a massive pack. and they reckon boogers are a plague at yorkes, these guys are way more annoying!

long past its prime...
this place is a f*cking joke, it hardly ever works and one time i was out there when it actually was pretty fun 20 g@y bootleg boardriders walked down the beach and all paddled out together in a massive pack and then blew wave after wave after wave! yorkes is getting ridiculous these days...
