Additional Information
Jump off the rocks and paddle around to the ledge. On good days, there is a carvable wall as soon as you take off. Pull off before you hit the rock wall.
On its day, the best point break on the Sunshine Coast. Unfortunately, needs a pretty big swell to work properly. Does get crowded but plenty of waves to go around.

Atmosphere
Starts working at about 4-5 foot southerly swell with southerly winds. I have surfed it in about 10 foot and can be ridden past the river mouth and through to spit reef. When it gets above 2 meters, should only be handled by the guys who know what they are doing.
Steep barrelling take off and if you make the section confronted by a nice wall. My favourtie point break on the coast

General
The crowds are pretty ok. Only when it's ON do they get bad. If small, surf sunshine beach to the north or if the banks are good at kawana, surf them as well. No mal riders here on big days. Not many kooks either.
