Pitta Street is located at the southern end of Peregian Beach (Noosa). Turn from David Low Highway drive south down Lorikeet Drive and turn left into Pitta St.
Pitta Street is a great open beach break in a beautiful part of the Sunshine Coast. The break is in front of the carpark. The coffee rock bottom allows for shifting sand banks throughout the year. Can be awaesome on its day. One of the best breaks in QLD.
Overview
Atmosphere
Nothing can beat an early morning uncrowded surf with an offshore breeze blowing. When Coolum is a little too crowded, drift further up the coast for empty waves that have a little more punch to them. + Located in built-up area. Can be crowded but enough waves to go around. Particulary good when large SW groundswell. Seems to break up and peak when other nearby beaches close out.
General
Pitta Street is name after a local bird, as are most of the streets in Peregian. + Worth a look when beachbreaks are on. Locals hang out here.
GO HOME
Dont surf here the locals are hectic...stay home or surf the points

Pitta St. Cranks
This place goes off like a frog in a sock! Stands ups think they dominate the break.. but the boogers out there show them up every time
