Go to the Maroochy Surf Club and go as far up the beach as you can and then paddle the river or take the pussy way and walk down the river until you get to the bridge and then cross and walk to the beach.
Head north from Mooloolaba over alex heads. keep folowing Aredrome road until you reach the lights next to Maccas. turn right and turn right again and head along beach road pass the surf club and park at the last park before the road head left inland.
It's a good fun beachy but crap when it's windy take a mate or something cuz sometimes there is no-one there.
Just watch out if your charging the shorey as there's nearly always rocks. If a big storm has recently passed be full careful as the rocks uncover heaps easy.

Atmosphere
Yeh when its working it's an awesome atmosphere. Locals are mad and don't drop u but dont snake 'em or they will burn ya.
Pretty sweet atmosphere except for all of the longboarders always stealing your wave but if they try just tell em to get lost, and if the don't keep riding it and then keep droppin in on em.
General
Sweet, it's good alround spot always breakin and some good secret reefs nearby.
rip depends on the tide. i was there in the last swell and for bout an 1hr it was probably the best waves i have ever seen break on sand. apart from that 1 hr its always shit

its not reall rippy, but really only surf it when theres a solid swell and clean conditions. youd probaly only wanna hit up the bank out at the mouth though. thats lefts and rights. Lefts better.
