Once saw 5 foot faces at the front of nelson park slsc in 1990 during large cyclone.Apart from that, this whole area is crap. Plenty of sharks. Go some where decent.

cyclone swell
bargra realy peaks around cyclone season (late december/fairly late in april)with maybe 5-6foot faces also realy clean the day be fore best time to surf is early morning late arvo.... also ther is spot in the opposite direction to kellys called archies its a cool place to go not crowde by tourists
