bad errors
There are some bad errors about this region on your site. Don't go to this area with any expectation of surf - it's very rare. Fraser Island is the last place, going north, with regular surf but it's the sharkiest place in Australia - worse than Cactus. I have sat and watched perfect, empty, 3-4ft rights running 300 metres down Waddy point and couldn't go out because DOZENS of 2-3 metre sharks were sitting belly on the sand only a couple of metres from the shore with tails just flapping slowly waiting for a feed. Lots of shark stories on this site are just for laughs but this is dead-set true. Hervey bay has no surf except maybe with a cyclone sitting in the bay. Agnes Water is actually hundreds of kilometres north from Fraser Is. It has some 2 star waves occasionally. The Springs ( also 100's of km. away from Fraser and just south of Agnes)has tiny 20 metre rides when it's "good" and on its best days it is a half star only. Nearby (200 mtrs.)is Rocky Point which can sometimes have surf on huge swells but it has a rock bottom that has the deadly stonefish living on it. You have a better chance of winning Lotto than getting surf here - buy a ticket and fly to Indo when you win - you'll get in the water quicker.
