Duranbah wouldn't even get 16ft. Rainbow possibly can get to 11-12ft. I have seen maybe 12ft at the most here back in 1999 and 2004.

Yep, the start of march was that big and snapper/rainbow bay were breaking on the outer sandbar.

When was it never crowded??
The Goldy has always been crowded. The population is growing and its always been popular with tourists. There is no way that 3 years ago Rainbow and Snapper were uncrowded. Just accept that all of the points are going to attract crowds, always have, always will. There are beachies on the coast that can still be good without the hordes....

sick spot
3 years ago when i was twelve i went here for a holiday it was sick it was so fun and we wentin school time so the lineup wasnt that crowded and snapper was sick only about 6 people including me but now its packed with about a hundred or more out snapper now its pumpin sand good. ill prob come up soon for a holiday dont worry snapper locals i dont drop in i respect locals. see yas
