From Sarina to Cape York. Barrier Reef blocks most of the swell but there's an odd small groundy day every now and then. normally onshore slop from South-East trade winds but can get OK, cyclones make a few waves.
Dominant Swell and Wind Direction : waves normally East to South-East, not much ground swell. dominant South-East trade winds, regular cyclones.most ground swell is blocked by the barrier reef, a bit of swell occassionally finds its way up the coast, fairly reliable south-east trade winds produce a few waves but flat spells are regular, cyclones produce a bit of excitement.
