Boulders Access
Take a vehicle ferry from Redcliff to Moreton Island, MUST have a 4wheel drive. Drive to Cape Moreton and up near the lighthouse. About 100m before you reach the lighthouse there will be a track barely visible. Maybe some other cars will be parked there already too.

Additional Surfing Infos
The swell must be decent as the bottom is deep. Surfing the wave at a big size can often lead to injury as the wave breaks extremly close to the massive boulders along the point. A real treasure if you find it and it happens to be going off. EXTREMELY SHARKY, ESPECIALLY AROUND SEPTEMBER. DO NOT SURF ALONE.
  Overview
Atmosphere Classic day trip. Summer days see people on the boulders whistling at the first sign of a good set. A dangerous but thrilling take off that crashes almost against the rocks on most days. The wave then pushes through to the end of the boulders and outside of a small natural harbour which is great for swimming. Dolphins are your mates at this spot, when they are around its a good sign that the sharks are elsewhere.
General Great atmosphere. Definately camp a few nights on Moreton at either Bull Lagoon or on the North Side. Good family spot in summer.

(in a few days I WILL SEND SOME PICTURES through, they are too big and i need to make them small)

open your eyes
Was here for a month last july and sat on the rocks for most of it and watched bronzies swim up and down the break all day. Had a few surfs there but was just freakin the whole time, just clim up the rocks at the end of boulders and watch and I will guarantee you within a half an hour you will see a shark.

sharks-no bullshit
We have surfed Moreton since we were little(28yrs+), we don't count the days we see em up here we count the days you don't see one. yeah they might only be a lil whaler but there has been plenty of waves in cause a 8+ tiger has been showing too much interest. Great waves and we will never stop, have never heard of this captain Turk though (maybe its Animal?, who doesn't even live here). Might be a self claimed Mayor. Snippy is a worry though.
