its called ledgends
back in the day in the 70's when there used to be 100 foot tall sand dunes on the kurnell peninsular that were visible from saddleback mountain in kiama and the beach at wanda used to extend 80m from the dunes, and blackwoods beach used to extend half way out to the island and suck rock was covered by a beach, ledgends used to be the best wave in cronulla, a huge reef that was covered by a hard packed sand bank. it used to handle any sized swell and barrel for 250+ metres and then dump into the shore break. if you dont belive me, check out an old nulla movie called puberty blues and suss out all the sand in the shots covering the cliff at voodoo and and the scenes in green hills when it was a thick jungle.

It's predominantly a left
This spot can be a really fun place to surf. I don't know if it's called Legends or Bread Rolls or whatever and I don't really care. I've surfed it 4-5ft and it's mostly a left. I've also surfed it at about 8-10ft and at that size, you're almost surfing as far off the swimming pools as Cronulla Point and it is only a left at this size and more south towards South Cronulla, so much so that you can actually finish your ride at South Cronulla. Just beware of all the water moving back out off the beach.
