A Perfect Day at Lennox Point! - Wake up at 9am, cruise to the point on the pushie. Perfect 6 ft barrels. Easy jump off with not a scratch or ding. Paddle into to the line-up joining a few mates in the water. First wave is perfection! Make the drop with ease, race through the fast section, pull into a long hollow tube, (hear a loud hoot from a friendly stranger) come out and cut back into the pocket, smack the lip a few times, and float the close-out section. Paddle back out and catch a hundred more like it.

A realistic day at Lennox..........
Enthusiastically run down the point to find 3-4 ft fat waves. Get cut-up on the rocks waiting to jump off. Scratch the shit out of the bottom of your board. Paddle into the line-up with 150 other guys. Spend two hours desperately searching for an empty wave. Accidently piss off one of many psycho, aggressive, He-Man locals. Nearly get the crap beaten out of you. Snap your leggie and lose your board on the rocks. Swim in bleeding and wounded. Wonder why you even bothered!

locals - im 13 years old went out there went up a wave in front of a surfer and he went psycho he nearly killed me after that i stuck to lennox beach my advice dont try it

stick to byron - if you want the crap beat out of you by the local crew the rocks and the tiger sharks ......and have your car broken into because you dropped in .........try to surf lennox ......otherwise fuck off to byron bay with peace and happiness.....and go placidly in amongst the crowd of plastic mals.....

Lennox on its day is ... paradise! - I have surfed The Point off and one over the last 15 years. When you crack a "Lennox loomer" at 6 foot plus you will realise two things. 1. Yes, there is a God. 2. She is a kind, beautiful and loving God! A wave like this can not be described in words. You just have to go there youself. But now a cautionary tale: one morning I arrived at Lennox to find it absolutely cranking - 8 to 10 feet, 10 knot SW wind (dead off-shore) and only eight guys out. Admittedly it was still half an hour before sunrise. I grabbed my board and teared down the track to the jump off spot. As I stood on the rocks waiting for a lull to paddle out I was distracted by a voice behind me. I turned around, and the next thing I bowled over by a huge white wash. As the water surged out I was dragged over the rocks and into the an on-coming series of killer white washes. I took about seven on the head, pinned against the rocks. Finally they stopped coming and I managed to scramble out the back, where I promptly spewed my guts out. After recovering I made my way to the line up and had the best surf of my life!!! Enjoy the Point, but pay attention.
