Anga's and the back beach
Was never going to be a secret and now the business tycoons of the industry have nested here it's a pity. Have the fondest memories of Anga's on a good 6-8ft day that seemed to last forever. Back beach going off when the wind swung nw and all the boys still talk of those 3 days of sweet sweet surf. Do me a favour and look after this magic part of the world , and let's make Gordons mansion the only one here.

yamba kicks it man
yamba is my favourite place. i've lived n breathed that place n i love it. the locals are champs. great bunch of people. angourie is the bomb and its up there as a world class right.. but you cant forget the others like spookies, turners, pippies and main who all turn on at some stage usually in the mornin and you will get some high quality waves here.. highly recommended..

angourie and yamab are both great surf spots ncie locals most of the time and great uncrowded waves if your there at the right time

Here in Yamba/Angourie, is a beautiful spot to surf, not only at Angourie point there are multitude of spots to surf at. You got:

-Angourie back beach
-Greens point
-Lover's point
-Pippi Beach
-Turners
etc.

However I wouldn't worry too much about sharks, there's only been a few 'shark attacks' at Angourie and Brooms Head.

Although there are some things you have to be careful of, are:

-Goldies- Wankers who try to be 'hardcore.' Go around and start shit.

- Aborignals/Mission - AVOID the mission at all costs, the black fellas drink metho and alcohol all the time and I've seen cases where they bashed other People with metal poles or they will stab you, etc.

-Dirty/Dark Brown water - Try to avoid surfing in these conditions, this when it rains real heavy and the top soil erodes into river, carrying a nasty bug. Making you very sick.

Try not to come through school holidays, as the town triples in the population in Touro season.

Other than that, the locals are extremely nice, Surfers/Mal/Boogers they all get along with each other.

dont pay angouire out or the people who surf there its a sik spot dont hassle they wont hassle u back. Anyway i got tracks this week wit the top 101 beachs n oz and angouires racked up 8 in front of vicco break express point.

i am a 12 year old grom who visted angouire with my family and when i was walkin down there this random goldie strated folling me turns out it was nat youngs dog we saw he outside his house on the way back. by the way sick spot.

You people have no idea what your talking about. I live up north of Angourie and visit there all the time for surf trips with my mates, Angourians are the most laid back people around, if they are giving you shit then its probably cause your being dicks to them. Best waves around. Great place!
