Bring your old bodyboard and slide down the dune. This spot is a sick wave on its day. It has a pretty good A-frame mostly around 2-4ft

Atmosphere
The beach is open of course (1 mile long) there is no scary locals here and every one is laid back. No rips, rocks, sharks or anything. A good beach worth the drive.
General
Good consistent fun. Good spot on every morning from 7am through to 11am
Back this winter 07 south oney got pretty damn epic..
a freezing winter arvo
straight south wind (freezing)
and an epic south east swell..
about 10 guys out there so pretty uncrouded..
and 6ft off suck rock or whatever you wanna call it..
begins as a barrel over the rock.. finishes as a heavy and rather large close out shorey... was epic..
drew a crowd of over 50 ppl on the beach and some more in the car park..
so good

Oney is goin off
Oney has been absolutely goin off these last few months...
Its be fucking madd
Ive seen it reach about 10ft at north
and over 6ft off the rock at south..
Lately but you would have to be fucking stupid to go out there.. like me..
its been fucking heavy... huge 4 to 6ft barrels sucking over knee to wait deep water..

dont dis one mile
dont dis one mile it is one of the best surf spots in the mid north coast and the swell gets wild out there and never go backside near the rocks coz u will get dropted and smashed into the rock's
