In Port MacQuarie. Turn right when you get off the ferry, follow the road until you get to North beach, turn right again and follow the road until you get to north wall , park your car and have a fun surf. Otherwise just paddle across the bar (river mouth).
The easiest way to go here is to paddle the river mouth from Town Beach but you must know what the tide is doing or you might end up a long way out to sea!!
The easiest way to get to here is by paddling the river just north of town beach. It is a real locals spot and the locals can be aggressive if you try to take it over. The atmosphere here is really relaxed. It is one of the best wedging waves on the Mid-North Coast and has a relatively easy take off.
Overview
Atmosphere
This is my favourite wave in Port. Don't snake or drop in here or you will not be welcomed here again!! The locals are cool and give respect (especially if you get a good one).
General
Fun best beach in all Port Mac.
You can get one of the best waves of your life here!! and dont be fooled many a surfer has broken his board here it may look lik a walk in the park and most days it is but when it is good or shallow it can be a hectic wave.
Nth Wall
Good spot in south/south east wind, wedgy peak near wall, then some beach breaks for 100-200m north then deteriorating to crap until the next stop... Sth Plomer!Easiest paddle out ever..take the rip that runs along next to the breakwall, once out paddle over to the lineup & hey presto!!!.

North Wall
Yep, Its a good little spot when the winds turned south-south-east, little wedgey fun takeoff near the wall. The easiest way to paddle out is to lay on your board and let the rip (which runs along the edge of the breakwall 99% of the time) take you out!! then you paddle across to the take off area.....easy peasy
