Off the wall is always a good stop in winter with a nice little right hander. Strong orth easterly swell produce magical rights on the breakwall,low tide produces real hollow fast waves.

Good atmosphere, always a couple of local longboarders/bodyboarders out. Pretty relaxed people. Female surfers are constantly out there.

wen that cyclone happened in qld pilot beach was 4 foot or so but out at the bar a huge wave bout the size of the wall came in and barreled bout 30 metres down the wall it was crazy as
